Rally Action Returns to Mundaring Hills

Shire of Mundaring will host stages on Friday 19, with competitors racing through Parkerville and along Mundaring Weir Road. Locals and visitors will be able to witness some of the country’s best drivers test their skills on our winding roads, right here in the heart of the Hills.

Shire President Paige McNeil said the event is more than just motorsport, it’s a chance for the community to come together.

“Tarmac West Rally brings a unique energy to our Shire. It’s exciting, vibrant and a wonderful way for people to gather with family, friends and neighbours to enjoy the spectacle.

“I encourage everyone to make a day of it – head to the designated viewing spots, support our local cafes and businesses, and soak up the atmosphere.”

Designated spectator points will provide safe and memorable vantage spots to see the cars up close. Many residents along the route also enjoy the rally as a community celebration, turning it into a social event right on their doorsteps.

To keep everyone safe, McDowell Loop (and nearby local roads) and Mundaring Weir Road will be closed during the rally. Please plan ahead and follow all detours and signage.

A full Spectator Guide with maps, times and viewing locations is available at www.tarmacevents.com.au. Rally updates can also be followed at www.facebook.com/tarmacevents

Shire of Mundaring looks forward to welcoming residents, visitors and rally enthusiasts for a weekend of excitement, community spirit and spectacular motorsport.
