Chidlow Pavilion Upgrade and Emergency Management Centre Project


Our Vision

The Chidlow Pavilion Upgrade and Incident Control Centre (ICC) project will deliver a modern, functional, and resilient community facility for Chidlow. The project aims to enhance local recreation spaces while strengthening the area's capacity to respond to emergencies.

 

 

Why This Project Matters

The Chidlow Pavilion is an important hub for community groups, events, and recreational activities. As the needs of the community grow, upgrades are required to ensure the facility remains fit-for-purpose.

This project will:

  • Improve the quality and usability of the pavilion for local user groups
  • Provide upgraded amenities to support community activities
  • Deliver a dedicated Incident Control Centre to support local/state Emergency Management
  • Strengthen community resilience in times of emergency

What’s Planned

The project includes:

  • Upgrades to the existing Chidlow Pavilion
  • Enhancement of are currently used as the Incident Control Centre
  • Improvements to functionality, safety, and accessibility of the facility
  • Enhancements to support both everyday community use and Emergency Management
