Sunday 9th August 2026
Join us at Dying to Know Expo, part of a national campaign encouraging Australians to open up meaningful conversations about death, dying and grief. The Expo will create a safe and meaningful space to share, ask questions, and reflect.
This year's Dying to Know theme - "Nobody Knows" - reminds us of the importance of sharing our final wishes, because if nobody knows our final wishes, they never will.
The Expo includes a speaker's program, exhibition area, a local artist painting a cardboard casket, vintage and Harley Davidson hearses, Ambulance Wish WA, and Social Grounds Espresso food van.
Boya Library will also be open on the day.
Bookings are essential via Humanitix. Please book for each area you wish to attend.
Exhibition Area - 10am to 3pm
Morning Speakers' Session - 10am to 12pm
Afternoon Speakers' Session - 12:30pm to 2:30pm

The Dying to Know campaign shines a light on the power of intergenerational conversations. Only *53% of Australians feel comfortable talking to a family member about their end-of-life. Dying to Know is about creating welcoming spaces for all generations to come together, share their wishes, and have the meaningful conversations that matter most.
