EXSS X-Tri Off Road Triathlon
Now in its fifth year, the EXSS X-Tri has become a favourite among athletes — set at the stunning Lake Leschenaultia in Chidlow, just 50 km from Perth.
Enjoy a freshwater swim, tackle thrilling new mountain bike trails through WA bushland, and finish with a scenic lake loop run — all on a spectator-friendly lap course.
This year’s event also features Short and Long Course Duathlon options for those who’d rather stay dry. This year this Long Course event has been awarded Australian Age Group Title Event Status
The Long Course has been awarded WA Triathlon State Championship, State Multisport Series, and World Triathlon Qualifier (WQE) status — cementing its reputation as one of WA’s premier off-road events.
Get ready for an epic race, breathtaking views, and your chance to qualify for the World Triathlon Championships.
Sunday 1st November 2026 , 9 am, come up for the course familiarisation
Course familiarisation, get to check out the course so you won’t get lost or have any unexpected surprises. Ride around the MTB course , then go for a run along the trails.
Race Day gear
Wetsuit , optional but will make the swim a bit warmer, don’t forget the goggles
Bike, can be a MTB but if you are good enough you can ride a gravel bike as well, lots of B lines so you can skip the jumps. Helmets are essential.
Runners, its all gravel so a pair that you are comfortable in
