Shire of Mundaring is pleased to celebrate the significant and outstanding contribution of community members by accepting nominations for Shire of Mundaring Citizenship Awards 2026. The recipients will be invited to a morning ceremony on Australia Day, Monday 26 January 2026, where they will be presented with the Shire of Mundaring Australia Day Citizenship Award 2026.

Nomination Categories:

  • Young Citizen: Individuals or groups under 30 years making a positive community impact
  • Inspirational Volunteer: Volunteers whose dedication makes an outstanding difference
  • Access Mundaring: Recognising efforts to create a more inclusive, accessible community.
  • Long Service: Honouring community champions with over 10 years of service.

Eligibility Criteria for Citizenship Award:

  • Nominees must not have been a recipient of an award in the past five years;
  • Sitting members of State, Federal and Local Government are not eligible

Referee Details

This person must be someone other than the nominator who can comment on the nominee's contribution to the community. Please not they must not be a member of Shire staff or a Councillor.
