Movies under the stars in the Perth Hills — run by the community, for the community.

Kookaburra Outdoor Cinema is a community-run cinema operated by Kookaburra Collaborative Inc., a not-for-profit organisation. Set against the beautiful backdrop of the Perth Hills state forest, the cinema brings the community together to enjoy movies under the stars.

The outdoor season runs mid-October through to the end of April, with gates opening at 6.30pm and movies commencing around 7.45pm.

Bring your own food and drinks, or enjoy a selection of snacks, ice creams, hot and cold drinks from our candy bar.

All profits go towards maintaining this iconic community venue and supporting local Hills groups, community initiatives and projects.
