Our group holds regular meetups on Monday mornings (excepting public holidays and a short break over summer) in the same building as the Koongamia Child Health Centre (Mudalla Way) from 9.30am to 11.30am. 

We alternate between discussion meetings - on breastfeeding and parenting topics - and chat & play sessions.

Parents with children of all ages are welcome and the centre has toys and an outdoor play area suitable for older toddlers and pre-schoolers.

The Gumnut Family Centre meeting venue is accessible to prams and wheelchairs and disabled parking is available. The outdoor play area is fenced. Note: Some people may have difficulties opening the gate to come inside.

Our meetings are informal and all are welcome. It's a great opportunity to hang out with other local mums. We have a great playground outside so the older children can play while parents can enjoy a hot cuppa, cake and good company. Trained volunteer breastfeeding counsellors are at hand to offer breastfeeding support and information if needed.
