"The objectives of the Swan View Community Association (SVCA) are: •To establish and sustain as many recreational and educational facilities as are practical and affordable, for the benefit of the residents of Swan View; •To encourage the residents of Swan View to take an active part in matters of safety and security in and around Swan View; •To foster community respect and a feeling of pride in the community. •Work to encourage and support the equity and diversity of the residents of swan view. •Endeavor to promote positive interpersonal relationships between the people of Swan View; •To investigate and facilitate such measures as is practical to improve the security within Swan View •To disseminate community related information and to promote the objects of the association by the printing and distribution of papers, periodicals, and or brochures. •To provide all possible assistance to residents of Swan View in a practical and advisory capacity. •To raise funds by means of Grants, subscriptions, donations, appeals and social functions. •To invest any monies not immediately required in such securities or in such other manner as the committee of management may think fit and from time to time vary or realise such investments. • To encourage the residents of Swan View to abide by the laws of the Government of Australia and Western Australia. •To promote the positive aspects of living and working in Swan View; •To assist and promote local community projects and groups which are deemed by the management committee to be of benefit to the people of Swan View. •To advocate proper environmental and civil maintenance of bush reserves, nature strips, and wildlife in Swan View. Focus will be on issues regarding undesired pollution, fire safety and matters of general good upkeep; •To advocate for the adequate and safe provision of basic civil services in situations where such action would be appropriate." 


Meetings are held at the Bruce Douglas Pavilion, Brown Park, Swan View on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 7.30pm. The AGM is held in August


Membership fees are $10 per year.
