At Dorchies Family Day Care, i hope to provide children a 'home away from home' - a place where each individual child can feel safe, secure, happy and free to be themselves.  My philosophies are aligned to Montessori.  The prepared environment will be one where children have freedom to move around and be independent.  We will spend days in a calm and harmonious atmosphere - one where we practice an unhurried way of life through our daily routines and practice mutual respect in our interactions with one another.

I hope to build trusting, harmonious relationships with parents, as well as to develop our community life as the service grows. 

My experience in caring for children includes being a mother to two young children and working in the Long Day Care sector over the past five years.  I have a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care. My professional interests are supporting children with additional needs, inclusivity, sustainability and furthering my understanding of the Montessori Philosophy.
