Shire of Mundaring is inviting residents aged 14 years and over to take part in its latest Community Pulse Survey, a vital opportunity to rate the Shire's performance, share views on local services and help shape future priorities.
The survey, now open, asks for feedback on key areas such as waste services, communication preferences, and community satisfaction. Results will guide strategic decisions and help Council improve service delivery in line with the Council Plan 2024–2034.
Shire President Paige McNeil said Council values community feedback as an important part of guiding decision-making across our foothills, hills, and rural communities.
“Insights from our community help shape priorities, identify areas for improvement and inform where we focus our future efforts,” she said.
“The survey is easy to access, available to everyone aged 14 and over, and completely confidential. I invite our community members to be part of the conversation as we continue building a vibrant and connected Shire together.”
Key questions include:
- Satisfaction with general, recycling and FOGO bin systems
- Awareness of, and views on FOGO and waste education
- Preferences for scheduled vs. flexible bulk verge collections
- Support for additional bin collections over the Christmas period
- Preferred communication channels and interest areas
The survey is conducted independently by CATALYSE® and all responses are confidential. Results will be shared in aggregate form and presented to Council to support strategic planning and service improvement.
The survey closes on Thursday 15 August 2025.
