Blackspot funded road safety improvements will commence on Evans Street and Keane Street (East) approach of the roundabout in Mount Helena from Wednesday 17 January.

Works will include the installation of new traffic islands and widening on both approaches to the roundabout.

Works are scheduled to take approximately five weeks, with all reasonable care taken to minimise any inconvenience to local residents, businesses and the public. 

Due to the nature of the works, and to ensure the project is completed as safely and efficiently as possible, partial road closures and detours via alternative routes may be implemented as required.
