Tenders are invited for a proposed solution to replace the current hardware and hypervisor solution. The solution should take advantage of a private fibre link between the Shire’s Administration building server room and the server room at the Shire’s Operations depot to share active-active workloads across both sites while having full site fail-over redundancy capability. The Shire prefers a HPE VME hypervisor solution to replace VMWare however other solutions will be accepted and considered.
