Mundaring Hills Open Studios Saturday 17 October to Sunday 25 October 2026
Need an excuse to head for the Perth Hills? This is it. For nine days, 85 artists across 34 studio spaces and three venues open their doors free of charge, inviting you behind the scenes to step inside working studios, chat with artists, watch live demonstrations and discover original art you can buy direct from the artist.
The trail stretches across the Perth Hills, from Swan View and Greenmount in the west to Gidgegannup and Chidlow in the east, winding through Mundaring, Darlington, Glen Forrest, Mahogany Creek, Stoneville, Parkerville and more. Wander between studios tucked among the trees, purpose built workshops, home studios and shared creative spaces, with plenty of cafés, wineries and local favourites to enjoy along the way.
From painting, ceramics and sculpture to jewellery, glass, textiles, woodwork, metalwork, mosaics and mixed media, there's something for every kind of art lover.
You'll meet artists at every stage of their practice, from emerging creatives to nationally recognised professionals, making every stop a little different. More than an art trail, it's a chance to explore the Perth Hills in spring, discover artists you might never have found, support local businesses and spend a day surrounded by creativity, fresh air and beautiful landscapes.
