The 2026 Table Tennis Australia (TTA) Western Australia Tour brought a weekend of high-energy table tennis competition to Mundaring Arena on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 January, attracting players and spectators from around Australia and New Caledonia to the region’s premier indoor sporting venue.
The national-level event, hosted at Mundaring Arena and open to all age groups from under-11s through to open and para classifications, showcased fast-paced singles competition with matches livestreamed for fans unable to attend in person.
Shire of Mundaring President Paige McNeil said the Shire was proud to support such a dynamic sporting event in the heart of the community.
“We were thrilled to welcome the TTA Tour to Mundaring, bringing outstanding competition and energy to our Arena,” President McNeil said.
“It was wonderful to see players of all ages and abilities enjoying the sport, and to witness our community come together to celebrate their skill and sportsmanship.”
Table Tennis Australia also praised the venue and community support throughout the weekend.
“The Mundaring Arena was a fantastic host venue for the WA leg of the TTA Tour,” said TTA’s National Events Manager Ryan Wiegand.
“The support from the Shire of Mundaring and the local community helped create a welcoming and professional environment for players of all ages and abilities, and we look forward to returning in the future.”
