Current burning period

From 1 June 2026, we entered the UNRESTRICTED burning period.

Do I need a Permit to Burn?

A Permit to Burn is not required during the UNRESTRICTED burning period.

Burning safely

When burning, please ensure:

• The fire is properly contained within a mineral earth firebreak
• A suitable water supply is readily available to extinguish it if required
• Smoke is managed to avoid impacting roads and neighbouring properties.
