Key Draft Environmental Strategies (Closed)


Public feedback is invited on the Shire’s draft Local Biodiversity Strategy and Watercourse Hierarchy Strategy.

The Local Biodiversity Strategy identifies key issues and threats facing the natural environment and native species and potential solutions. The Watercourse Hierarchy Strategy identifies key issues and threats facing the management of watercourses and recommends corresponding strategic, planning based and operational actions.

The Strategy documentation will be available for public inspection and comment until 12n noon on Monday 6 February 2023.

At the conclusion of advertising, all submissions will be reviewed and used to inform Council’s decision.
