Chidlow Volunteer Bush Fire Brigade will be hosting a community Escape Route Planning session on the Mundaring Big Map. The session gives local residents the opportunity to explore their bushfire escape options in a practical, hands-on way.

• Sunday 18 October, 9am-11am
• Chidlow Fire Station, corner of Wilcox Street and Old Northam Road

Using our large (11m2 to cover the whole Shire!) map of the local area, participants can identify their property, consider different scenarios, and learn why having multiple escape route options is important.

Previous sessions have been very well received, with attendees appreciating the opportunity to discuss local conditions, share knowledge and improve their preparedness. We continue to refine and enhance the program based on participant feedback and ideas, ensuring each session delivers even greater value to the community.
