The Shire is now in Restricted Burning period. Residents may burn a 1sqm pile of garden refuse at a time, during the hours of 6pm and 11pm. Permits to Burn are not yet available. Visit the Burning Periods and Fire Danger Rating page to read the conditions.

The Shire has recently transitioned to an online facility booking system which provides an improved booking experience for hirers. The conversion to this new online facility booking system required some alterations to the current fees and charges for facility hire. The adopted alterations to the 2023/24 Fees and Charges Schedule were introduced from 1 December 2023.
