Star Tracks Astronomy Workshop for Kids

Past Event

For children aged 8 to 13 years.

Children will enjoy a cosmic space adventure with Star Tracks special school holiday program. Engaging and enthusiastic astronomy guides will make learning fun and take kids from our home planet, venturing through our solar system, out to gigantic stars and far-off galaxies. Explore the wonders of space!

Kids will look through a solar telescope at the sun and if the moon is up, they will get to check out the craters too! Hands-on fun as kids re-create the movement of the solar system or fly their Martian Rover to Mars! All junior astronomers receive a free give-away planisphere!

This activity is for school-aged children aged 8 to 13 years only.  Please do not book younger children as places are limited.

The event is free, but bookings are essential via Eventbrite (you do not need to book for adults who are accompanying children).

Children aged under 12 years must be accompanied by an adult.
