Thank you to everyone who has taken their green waste to our Coppin Road and Mathieson Road Community Recycling Centres over the last week.

As you will be aware, we have extended our opening hours at Coppin Road to accept green waste on Wednesdays.

As we continue the clean-up over the coming weeks, we will be keeping Coppin Road open on Wednesdays for green waste, only.

However, due to the increased demand we need to close green waste entries only at Coppin Road this Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 January to allow mulching to occur to create additional space for green waste over the coming week.

If you plan on disposing of green waste this weekend you can visit our Mathieson Road site or take it to Red Hill, free of charge for residents affected by the storm.

Containers for Change opening hours remain unchanged.

To enable the Shire time to process the current pile of green waste located at Coppin Road, opening days and hours of both facilities have temporarily changed for the week beginning Monday 29 January.
