Water Corporation's authorised contractor, Georgiou, are constructing a new 2.4-kilometre water pipeline in Hazelmere and Helena Valley. This upgrade will improve the reliability of water supply in the area for decades to come.Construction of the pipeline began in February 2024, and Water Corporation are currently working in the Kadina Brook Bushland area.Water Corporation previously advised that traffic management would be in place for Helena Valley Road westbound detours from Monday 18 March 2024. Due to ongoing work on the Scott Street Bridge and proximity to existing water mains, work will now begin on Tuesday 2 April 2024.
