This exhibition showcases the natural and cultural beauty of Western Australia through the lens of Perth Hills photographer Xander Kabat. From stunning national parks to charming towns and local festivals, each photograph aims to capture the essence of WA. Images include WA’s diverse landscapes, such as rugged coastlines, vast outback plains, lush forests, and breathtaking sunsets. The exhibition highlights lesser-known places, steering away from the iconic images typically associated with WA photography. It showcases the secret spots of the region and offers viewers a fresh perspective on its natural wonders, reminding us of the countless wonders waiting to be discovered at home.
Xander has visited every continent and hiked and ridden motorcycles everywhere from Nepal to Alaska and Antarctica. More comfortable on an adventure than in everyday life, Xander turns his camera towards home. The result offers a unique and refreshing take on the beauty of Western Australia.
