Shire of Mundaring residents and businesses are invited to complete the 2024 Community Scorecard. Let us know what you think about our services, facilities and programs in your local area and how they can be improved. Help make our shire an even better place to live, work and play.
The scorecard which is expected to reach mailboxes across the shire from Monday 29 January takes between five to 10 minutes to complete and is managed by CATALYSE, an independent research company.
Shire President Paige McNeil said the Scorecard enables everyone to contribute towards making positive long-term improvements for our community.
"Council values our Community’s voice and that’s why this survey is being delivered to every household in our shire," she said.
"This is your opportunity to have your say on the future of our Shire."
"The confidential survey asks whether our Shire’s community activities, facilities, programs and services are delivering what you expect, what you’d like to change, replace or improve, and what functions and services of the Shire matter most to you as strategic priorities for our future."
"That’s why we’d love to hear from you, because this survey will determine how the Shire will meet your needs and expectations over the next decade."
All community members aged 14 years and older and businesses within the Shire are invited to submit their responses by Friday 16 February.
Responses will remain confidential and the scorecard generally takes five to 10 minutes to complete, or slightly longer if residents wish to expand on some written answers. The Shire will receive a report containing aggregated responses and anonymous comments.
Following the survey, a FUTYR Community Workshop is planned for April where suggested actions and priorities to achieve the Community’s vision will be discussed and then reviewed by Council.
