Scott Street Bridge, in Helena Valley, will be closed from approximately 7pm to midnight on Friday 8 March to remove barriers in preparation for the full reopening of the refurbished bridge.

During this work, a detour will be in place for all traffic via Helena Valley Road, Military Road, Clayton Street, Katharine Street and Clayton Road (as illustrated below). Please allow extra time for your journey.

Pedestrians and cyclists will continue to be able to cross the bridge using the path for the duration of the closure.

After the bridge has reopened to traffic, there will be some additional works to apply the final layer of asphalt. This will be undertaken with single lane closures and stop/slow traffic management only.
